Nexgen Golf Event 09 Nov 2024
On Saturday 9th November, Nexgen Golf, the Indoor Golf Centre, hosted a competition winners event, sponsored by Valleyfield Property and Maintenance and Valleyfield Joinery. Both companies from the Valleyfield Group, sponsor a range 'bay' at the centre, based in Westfield, Cumbernauld.
Eleven competition winners, from a local primary school, were treated to an afternoon of various golfing activities, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. The winners of the day's competition, were awarded prizes by our own Director of Operations, Charlene Murray. "To see the smiles on the faces of the children, shows how much they enjoyed the event. We look forward to working with Nexgen again, to support more fantastic work in our community", stated Charlene.
This Year Valleyfield Property & Maintenance Services took part in the Mighty Stride section of the Edinburgh Kiltwalk, taking place on the 14th September. We walked in aid of Shinning Stars ASN Theatre School, who are a theatre school catering for anyone with an additional supported needs. This charity is particularly close to our hearts, as one of our team member's daughter, regularly attends and she has continued to flourish throughout her time here.
We had a great day and managed to raise a total of £775. Thank you to everyone who donated to this amazing charity.

Tough Mudder
June 2025
Members of Valleyfield Property & Maintenance Services, in conjunction with Valleyfield Charity Foundation, took on one of the most challenging events yet, Tough Mudder. On the 7th of June our group set off early in the morning to the Hopetoun Estate, Queensferry, for a long day of teamwork, obstacles, and plenty of mud. All this in support of Chris’s House, which stands for ‘Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide’, they pride themselves on being a safe space for those suffering suicidal crisis or have been impacted by suicide by offering professional support and tailored programmes for each individual who comes to them, their motto is; “Let’s Talk”.
Huge well done to the team for their hard work, and thank you to everyone who donated, we’ve raised £1980 for a fantastic cause!

Cumbernauld Colts
Cumbernauld Colts are an established junior football team that covers a variety of age groups. Valleyfield Property and Maintenance Services Ltd. sponsor the Cumbernauld Colts Blue 2013 away games, we also provide the Player of the Match trophy at those games. The team have a dedicated following and can be found on Facebook
Shotts Bon Accord
Valleyfield Property and Maintenance Services, Sponsor the 2017s, the junior division of the club. The Academy have a full range of teams from the 2017s all the way through to senior level.
A very well established club with a great history of football in Scotland, Shotts Bon Accord welcome all ages to play at the club. VF Property & Maintenance sponsor the 2017s home and away.

Our Charity Work
Charity Golf Day-
25th October 2025
Our Indoor Golf Simulator Fundraiser was an absolute success, raising over £800 for the ‘Warm Winter Clothing Appeal’ fund which will be donated to the Cumbernauld & Carbrain Community Hub. The event was held at Nexgen Golf Simulator, where we have our own sponsored bay, and was a day full of friendly competitions, some brilliant (and some terrible) shots, and many prizes/trophies being awarded. There was also the opportunity to play golf pro and owner, Chris Tierney, who was beaten by 3 people on the closest to the pin!
Congratulations to all the winners and we hope everyone had an amazing time raising money for an important cause.
There is still plenty of time to donate as the ‘Warm Winter Clothing Appeal’ drive will ongoing until the 15th of December, so get your donations in to help those who need it most stay safe and warm this Winter.
